STYLING VARIATION: “I wanted to change the texture of the curls and create a more vintage look, so I twisted some of the details around the hairline, including the fringe, into the top. I left the rest of the hair with its natural texture, and I twisted it into flat curls, pinning it in different sections to create a lovely shape, leaving out the lengths in the front”

1. Section the hair as shown.
2. Begin the cut in the center of the back. Cut the guideline vertically at a 90° angle. Work the full section around the head on both sides.
3. Section the hair behind the ear and pull everything forwards at a 90° angle and cut flat.
4. Pointcut the baseline.
5. After cutting the top section square and leaving it longer than the underneath to create a soft overhang, take some weight out of this area through targeted pointcutting.
6. Cut the fringe in at desired length.
7. Break into the texture of the fringe using slicing.
8. To enhance curl twist and cut out small pieces randomly throughout.
